In the context of a research project on the 2024 EU Elections, we are looking for applicants interested in empirical research - who are fluent in Croatian, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and/or Swedish for a quantitative content analysis of Facebook postings.

 

We are hiring 6 student coders

 

You will assist in the content analysis of Facebook posts by political parties in the 2024 European Parliament elections. As a first part of the job, you will receive extensive training to code these posts (about 10 hours), then perform the test coding and coding. The training and test coding will take place in August; the content analysis will be carried out in September/October 2024. After the training, you can flexibly choose the hours and location of work. The extent of work and deadlines can be arranged on an individual basis.

 

 

We seek:

–          very good language proficiency (preferably as native language) in Croatian, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and/or Swedish

–          experience in empirical research (preferably in carrying out quantitative content analyses)

 

We offer:

–          competitive payment (“Werkvertrag” depending on the number of posts you will be coding, between 500-1000 EUR),

–          gaining experience with a method of data collection commonly used in market and media research, and a

–          certificate.
